Tis The Season + Some

For FHE we set up our Christmas! Daxen loved playing in the Tree Box and could care less about everything else that was going on, except when the Ornaments for the tree came out. Then he continued to yell at us BALL BALL BALL. He Did help handing them to Dad who handed them to me to put on the tree!

His first attempt to get into the box. It wasn't so graceful.

Our Tree is a little bare. The colors that I want to do I don't have enough of and my first year which was RED and SILVER the majority of it got sold in the yard sale that we had. Stevie gave me permission to go and buy the ones that I want when they go on sale at the end of Christmas! With the exception that I don't change it every two years!:) I will see if I can keep that promise I made to him.
I went to Stevie's work today and decorated his office. My WONDERFUL Grandma and Mom were so nice to help me. My mom is creative to help me get gifts and my grandma is great and making up poems. She did an amazing job and Stevie only gets to open one present a day. (I did the 24 days of Christmas, so each day he gets a present.)
The poem says, in case you cannot read it.

Its December 1st- there are only 24 more days,
I'm going from store to store in a kind of daze.
I must find 24 gifts and wrap them with care,
You might get something you can wear.

So each day there will be a gift for you,
Open one, don't you dare open two.
When 24 days have passed,
You've opened all the gifts at last.

I'm so blessed to have you in my life,
I want to make you happy being my wife.
The gifts were given with love from me,
To the dearest husband that ever could be.
Daxen's first bubble bath. It wasn't on purpose but he somehow got a hold of the shampoo bottle!

YOU DID WHAT

During dinner Daxen told us what he just did. It was pretty funny and we hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Carbon Alumni Game

While I was down in Price I heard that they were having a Carbon Alumni game. It turned out to be alumni against alumni or as they called it YOUNGIES VS. OLDIES. But there will be another game later that the alumni plays against the actual Carbon Team. It was a lot of fun but holy SMOKES. I was dying and our YOUNG team didn't have any subs so we played 16 minutes...2 and 4 quarter while the carbon high team played one another the 1 and 3. Hopefully by the next game I will be in a little more shape! However our team won by 1 point thanks to my mom for keeping score and I scored 4 points!:)

My wonderful team. All of these girls were freshman when I was a senior.

Family Pictures/Daxen's first Trick-or-Treating

Its that time of year for family pictures! Amy was nice enough to take them for us!! THANK YOU! To say a least she was very patient with our NOT SO HAPPY little boy. It was like the nightmare that wouldn't end. We went from throwing leaves to pulling leaves off trees just to get him to smile. In the end we got pictures that we loved and others that his little nasty mean face was showing! Needless to say we love our little guy and ended up getting some great pictures!!

She totally caught me off guard. But we think it turned out to be a good picture!

This is my favorite:) I love my hubby!
In this photo, you can't see him anymore because I got rid of him! But Daxen was there. While we were taking our pictures he was in the background smiling at the camera...BIG CHEESY GRIN..lol:) I could have HUGGED that little man for that!

Throwing the leaves to get him to smile
Pulling the leaves off the tree to get him to smile!
Finally got put down to run around:)
We needed to have Daxen take a nap before pictures so Stevie went to put him to sleep. It was taking longer than usual so I went to check to find this.
After a long day of pictures we did end up going trick-or-treating. Daxen loved it. He held his bucket the entire time. We first went to the mall where he rode Dads shoulders the entire time. I forgot my camera in the car so no pictures in the mall:( However, when we went to Jason and Amy's house to trick-or-treat around their neighborhood Daxen would have nothing to do with Stevie or I. I think he was mad at us for making him sit still for pictures. He would either hold Uncle Jason or Chads hand. The best part was he grabbed Stevie's hand not knowing it was him and he looked up to see who it was. When he saw it was Stevie he threw his hand down and ran to Chad to hold his hand. It was so funny, but SAD that he was mad at us. By the end he did forgive and would let us hold his hand and carry him every now and then!
