HOLY COW!!

There is a lot that has been going on that I have not blogged about so once again here is a long post for you to enjoy. I left my camera at my mom's house last week so that is why there has not been a post for quite awhile.

Schyler working out with Daxen!!
On the roof with Papa Doug.

Daxen spending time with Papa Doug. He loves to play on the tramp so my Dad takes him out every time we come and he will run back and forth and make my Dad run to the other side before Daxen almost falls off.

I came down a couple of week ago and we decided to go to the pool that was in Castle Dale. It was a lot of fun and Daxen absolutely loved it. I did not think he would as much as he did but he went down the slide and loved every minute of it.

The little stinker. He loves to eat chips and these were laying somewhere he could reach them. He came around the corner with them in hand and he would reach in and eat as many as he wanted!
Grandma Rasmussen holding Daxen at the Castle Dale parade.

We went to the Carbon county fair while we were down in Price and Daxen won best personality. He did the categories of best personality, best eyes, best dressed, and best look a like parent and child. They let everyone win so he couldn't win more than once but he sure did earn the best personality award. He would walk up front with out us and scream and wave to people. He was so cute and it was a lot of fun. I am sad to say none of it was one video but we did get pictures.

We went to Huntington lake one afternoon just deciding that morning that we wanted to go. We only got to go tubing because the wind was CRAZY. It still ended up being fun!

Schyler and Halee were down watching the boys so we decided to go to the petting zoo at Thanksgiving point. $2 Tuesdays:) YAY. We did however wait 1 1/2 hours in line for the pony rides but it was worth it. Dawson loved it, Daxen screamed when we took him off, and well Carter didn't last at all!
Trying to do a back flip. The first time he didn't realize how close he was to the water:)

We decided to go to Seven Peaks with Halee and Schyler because they were leaving to North Dakota the next week. We went after 6 because then it is only 6.99:) We ran back and forth to every slide so that we were able to get our seven dollars worth.

That is right another day and Huntington lake. We enjoyed the day a little bit better because this one was planned in advance. Daxen actually got in the lake and liked it only with his legs in but when we put him in with Halee he did not like it as much. It was a little cold. My mom even got on the Banana Boat. She did very good, with a lot of laughs after wrecking (not to be mean but it was funny the first time she hit the water and Jason and I were waiting for her to come up she had a little panic attack because the water was so cold) So worth it though because she did have a good time:)

Obviously there was a battle between these things that is why there are three of them. My Dad and Mom went back to the store after buying one to buy each of the grandsons their own. They had a blast in them.
This had to be the best thing that happened! We were out playing flog with my family and if you have never played it there is a string with golf balls tied to each end. Well Stevie was waiting his turn while twirling them around and they somehow got wrapped together and smacked him right in the face. Which was followed by out of control laughter from all of us and Stevie saying "Oh my goodness I am even bleeding" It was pretty funny and needless to say he is doing just fine!
This is Daxen's bathtub thingy:) Whatever you call it. He always gets it out to lay in it while I am getting ready for the day.
My mom came up to Provo to get some things and while we were in Costco Daxen fell asleep on this pillow we bought. He is so CUTE:)
Hope you enjoyed the longest blog ever!!

AGAIN, A LITTLE BIT OF EVERYTHING

This last Friday our ward had a camp out. Stevie and I just went Friday night to hang out and eat hot dogs(BLAH, which I am not a fan of but I did eat one because I was starving) and roasted marshmallows. It was a lot of fun and well all Daxen wanted to do was of course jump into the fire. But we managed to keep him busy and occupied doing other things. It was the longest drive up there but worth it. It took about 45 minutes, or longer with stopping and opening 4 different gates. It was a lot of fun and I am glad that we went.

Like father, like son!!

The light blinded Daxen, but I guess it is a half smile!!

Roasting hot dogs with Dad.

Love the face:)

Where we put Daxen to sleep. Because we were not staying the night.

The next day we headed down to Price because Stevie had some appointments. I joined my family at the parade in the morning for International Days, and then we later went to the park. It was fun and I found a really cute hat:)

Not sure what he was doing, but he is just so darn cute:)

Cousin Tyler, and Daxen. Tyler was Daxen's best friend that day. Thanks Tyler for taking him:)

Daxen found this very fun. Pulling Aunt Halee's hair!

We finally got a good picture when he wasn't trying to hurt her.

Daxen loved the car show. All he wanted to do was drive all of the cars. My parents neighbors have some cars that they put in the car show so they let Daxen get in and drive the truck. They are so sweet to let him to that! He was in HEAVEN:)

After we got done looking at the cars we put Daxen in the train. The carts are made out of the water barrels. They are 17 seats, and then you get pulled around in it.

Daxen and I went first.

He wanted to sit by himself so we let him drive!
Then he screamed and so my mom let him go one more time!

Aunt Halee took him this time!!

Last but not least. My dad let him play with his steering wheel in the car:) Then Daxen screamed the entire time I was putting him into his car seat!! I love him to death, so if you have any ideas on where to buy steering wheels that hook to a car seat.....please let me know!
