Christmas 2008

We have a Christmas party at my Grandma Neeley's every year. Where we eat dinner and santa and Mrs. Claus come and visit! It is so much fun and Daxen wasn't to sure about his first experience.

His little hip starting to shack and everything..sad but we were all laughing at him.

We spent Christmas eve and Christmas with Stevie's family this year and it was a blast! They got a wii and a wii fit for christmas. It was a lot of fun trying to beat everyone's score and being with the family.

Daxen and Crew! There are 1 month and 5 days apart(Crew is older). They are so cute!!

Daxen had his first opportunity to ride a snowmobile and go sleding! My Dad and I had to put him between us because he wouldn't stay on other wise. He didn't care for it to much because half of the time I was putting my hand in front of him because of all the snow that was coming up and hitting us in the face. We also sent Daxen down on a big hill by himself. It was funny and sad at the same time. He was doing great until at the bottom when his Dad tried grabbing him and he ended up face planting it into the snow. Dad picked him up and he wasn't even crying in fact he was licking the snow off of his face!

Getting ready....not knowing what is going to happen to him:)

Our almost 1 1/2 year anniversary

Today was a wonderful day. Stevie is such a wonderful husband and I am so thankful to have him forever:) Today started out just like any ordinary day with Stevie going to school, I worked out, straightened the house, started laundry and then headed out for Daxen's WIC appointment. Just a little on him he now weighs 17.1 and is 25.2 inches. I also ran to wal-mart for some things and then headed home. When I walked through the door I found poinsettias on the table with a little poem. I can't remember what it said but something to the fact "Come share with me a little treat" P.S Bundle UP. I bundled up and we were on our way. (Not to mention I have not had a chance to get myself ready for the day....hence the no make-up and pony tail) I hated not knowing where we were going. After going to Albertsons and Wal-mart for stevie to find something we ended up at Provo Park where Stevie asked me to marry him. He had the same dishes that we had there that day he proposed. Turkey sandwiches, chips, and cheesecake:) After we were done eating we laid there for awhile just talking and then he said "REACH INTO MY POCKET" which were the words he said when my wedding ring was in his hoodie pocket. I looked at him oddly and then reached in and pulled out a RING POP:) It was so cute. It was nice just to be with him for the day and remember why I love him so much! He is the greatest husband and I couldn't have asked for more. Thanks honey for making my day you are the BEST!!

A Couple of Things....

We had our ward Christmas Party last Thursday. It was in Aspen Grove and it was a lot of fun. Daxen however had a pooping session and it was all up his back. Thank heavens it was Dads turn to change him:)

After the Christmas party I could see a bunch of lights up on a hill and I love to look at Christmas lights so we went on a hunt to find this house. Well it took us about 15 minutes because we were right below it looking up at it and couldn't find a road. Stevie had the idea of going around the hill and then we found the entrance into the place where these houses were. It was amazing! Their entire yard was decorated. Every tree had lights! It was AMAZING!!

Stevie is now playing basketball on a Provo team. He loves it and looks forward to it every week. He is doing really well. They only had 4 players last game and the other team had 7 and they still ended up winning:) Daxen and I are the cheerleaders. He is a future Basketball player...can't you tell!
Stevie and I went to The Dark Night for the first time last week and LOVED it. It was a very good show. We took Daxen with us and he did very good (minus the poop all the way up the back)....mine turn that time!! I don't know what it is with him pooping all over the place but he sure does it a lot! Anyways our little guy is so good...half way through the movie he was DEAD asleep. He was not waking up for anything! He is such a good baby...and are so thankful for that:)
