SWIMMING SWIMMING ALL DAY LONG

Today we went swimming. It was Daxen's first time and he seemed to enjoy it! He never cried after all the splashing and going down slides. It was a lot of fun and hopefully we can make it something we do more often. Amy, Jason, Dawson, and Carter also came along with us. It was so much fun.

The first picture was one of the water attractions that they had. The bucket on top fills up with water and dumps out. Stevie and I took a turn taking Daxen down the slide! The other picture is for little kids to go down the slides. Stevie sent Daxen down the far one that you can't see and Uncle Jason was there to catch him. They also have a big slide for kids, a lazy river, and a entire other pool for lap swimming!

When we were down we got Daxen in warm clothes and put him in his car seat. Within 2 minutes he was out and slept for about 4 hours!!

VALENTINES

This Valentines was the year that Stevie got to plan. We switch off every year so we can both have an opportunity of surprising the other one:) It works out really good. I went to Price Thursday to go to the Miss CEU pageant and came home Friday afternoon after a long day! Stevie had called me up right before I left Thursday to go and pack enough clothes for Daxen to stay until Monday. I was like a little unsure at what was going on but did as I was told. He had planned for his Mom and Dad to take Daxen the whole weekend so we could spend valentines together and alone:) It was so much fun, but I did miss my little boy a lot and have to admit when I dropped him off to the grandparents I started to CRY because I didn't want to leave him. It was sad but good all at the same time! When I came home Stevie was still at work and this is what I found sitting on the kitchen table! It was so cute and very well thought through...he did such a good job:)

This was my morning breakfast:) A heart pancake..and sugar was used to do the arrow!

We then went to the movies that afternoon and saw Mall Cop. This thing was in the hallway so we decided to take out pictures in it. It is kind of CREEPY.

After the movie he surprised me and took me Ice Skating. I haven't been for awhile and the only time I have gone is on a pound near fair grounds road which wasn't very easy to skate on. It is a lot harder than it looks but by the end we were getting good at putting out legs in the air(for about 1 second and then it would fall right back down)

Our stake put on a Valentines Dance for us so we headed off to that around 7:00. It was a lot of fun and it was the first time that Stevie and I had actually danced since out wedding.(very sad but very true) There was even a dance off which by the way WE WON:) He knew a little Cha Cha, and I threw in my Swing Dancing that I learned in College. It was a lot of fun!
They even took our picture:) They took more of a formal one but didn't have it posted on the Internet yet!

These were out presents to each other. Stevie got me the purse that I wanted because my well got stolen about 3 months ago:) Then I got Stevie a jacket because he desperately needed one!

I was so happy that we got to spend the weekend together. It was an amazing weekend and Stevie did an amazing job at planning it. Thank you Honey for making this the best weekend we have had for awhile. You are amazing and I love you so much! Thanks again grandparents for taking care of Daxen for us:) We love you!!

CLAP CLAP CLAP

We got Daxen to clap with us. He started doing it at my brothers basketball game when all of us were cheering. It was so cute so Stevie and I got it on camera.

This first video that we took of him was funny. He was distracted by the camera and not really paying any attention to me and then all of a sudden he leaped for the camera. I caught him but at the same time Stevie dropped the camera because he was going to catch him too!

14 Days of Valentines

I always enjoy doing little things for Stevie and one thing that I learned from my mom is the 14 days of valentines. This year I decorated his desk, well half of it because two people sit at the same one! It doesn't look to hot in the picture because I forgot to take one right after I got done setting it up and this is about 5 days after. Every day he opens a heart and there is a reason why I love him! Inside the container where his favorite snacks, plus a DVD.
PEEK-A-BOO. Daxen playing with his diaper box:)

SWIMMING and THE CIRCUS

We have made it a "tradition" if you could say to put these goggles on every grand kid:) He did really well he didn't even try to pull them off of his head. He just sat there and played with his fish!!

We heard that the CIRCUS was coming to town and I really wanted to go. Stevie and I took Daxen with us, and also Amy and Dawson came too! It was so much fun. There were elephants, tigers, lions, poodles(that was my favorite part just because they had the cutest little dog that was out of control running everywhere that they had to chain her to the car. Plus she was pink), they had acrobats, and the motorcycles riding in that cage. It was really cool. Not to mention this picture of Daxen asleep was right before the circus started. He closed his eyes and the lights when off. But with all the noise and cheering it didn't last very long! It was really fun and I am glad that we went!
