Fashion Trend of the CENTURY

I got these at a baby shower and ever since then Daxen will bring them to me and want them put on his feet. I think he is going to start a new fashion trend for babies!!

Arizona trip and a little more

My brother Jason was nice enough to invite us on a trip to Arizona to see our cousins. He needed to go up there for work so we decided to go with him. It was fun and Daxen did a good job considering the 10 hour drive and being off of his schedule. His favorite was the jump and shout where we spend hours there playing.

Daxen has this new thing with wanting to put things on his head so here are a couple of those pictures.

I had to post this picture. I got a new camera which I LOVE:) I was showing Stevie that no matter how much you are moving it won't make a blur. So here he is trying his best to move as much as he can. Can't you see the strain in his face. HILARIOUS

Hair Cut, Playing, and LOTS OF VIDEOS

We went down this weekend again to Price and Huntington. The reason for all of our travel is because we work at my Mom and Dads offices to earn extra money. It is nice and it gives time for Stevie and I to be together and of course my mom loves watching Daxen while we go and work:)
Sunday Natalie was more than willing to cut Daxen's hair. I had talked about it before and was so grateful that she offered. It was his FIRST OFFICIAL HAIR CUT! He did not enjoy it very much but she managed to get the job done. Despite him continually trying to bush the buzzer away.


The day that we left to Price I had it all in my mind for everything to work out. I was getting things done ready to go and kept Daxen awake for as long as I could so he would fall asleep in the canyon! WRONG...stevie called two minutes before he was going to leave and said a lady called that needed insurance. I was done. Therefore I turned on some cartoons for Daxen while I continued to keep myself busy. It was all to quiet when I walked out to find my little boy sleeping like this. He was so tired so I just had to let him sleep.

He has found his upgrade from the bath lounger to this one. He is always dragging it out to lay in this one now. He thinks he is such a big BOY!

Stevie and I had the opportunity to babysit Dawson and Carter while Jason took Amy out for her birthday. We had a lot of fun which consisted of walks, playing outside in the backyard, riding in the big truck, (GETTING MY FOOT COMPLETELY SMASHED, which hurt like the dickens) And wrestling inside with the boys.

Last Monday for labor day we decided to go and hang out with Chad and Rylee. We went swimming in the pool that they have next to their condo. IT WAS FREEZING! I couldn't get myself to go in. Stevie being the nice brother in law he is pushed Chad in first. Chad couldn't find his balance so into the freezing cold water he went. Daxen hated it but loved being on Stevie's shoulders and throwing that the toys in the water.

Daxen loves to play catch with his Dad. One afternoon when they were playing the ball was thrown off course and ended up underneath the kitchen chair. We didn't now what happened to Daxen until we started to scream. He had got himself stuck under the chair while trying to retrieve the ball.

While at my grandma's house in the middle of one of the games Daxen wanted to play on the table. We have taught him the game where we sing a song and the last part says "and a hug around the neck"....when you say and a.....he will run to you and give you a hug and then we finish the song. He had so many people to choose from he would tease them and then run to someone he wanted. Which by the way he never came to Stevie or I he would always choose someone else.

F.H.E

It was my turn to plan FHE last night so I decided to have a lesson and then play a game of miniature golf about what we had learned. It was more just having fun at the end and Stevie ended up beating me by one. It was fun and Daxen loved hitting the ball with the golf club. He is only in his diaper in the pictures but that is because it is way to hot in our house for him to be fully dressed. Plus he loves to be naked.
