HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAXEN

Today for Daxen's birthday we took him to chuck-e-cheese! Amy, Jason, Dawson, Carter and Sean came with us! It was a lot of fun! Daxen was pretty chill and didn't really care that we were there...but us grown ups probably had the most fun! The boys were in competition of ski ball...Jason came out on top! It was fun and we had a blast! Thanks again for coming everyone!

Daxen was just not sure what to think of him...they had a time where the threw tickets out to everyone who was there and Daxen did nothing but stare. He might have noticed that mysteriously Chuckie shrunk about 4 inches from the first time we saw him!

Didn't seem to impressed by this little ride. It took him in a circle and well he almost fell asleep.

He loved driving the cars. That was his favorite part!

Later that evening we went with Hongtao to go on a hike. We were going to head up to one that I thought would be cool but of course it was on some kind of private property! Well needless to say we headed back down the mountain (But why would it saw on the Internet that you could hike when you need a code to get in? LAME) But we had fun. We went to bridal veil falls just right off of the road up Provo canyon. It was fun to hang out there for awhile.

We went back to the car were Stevie ate Dumplings that Hongtao made for us! BEST COOK EVER! He is so much fun!

Stevie was teaching Daxen to bang his head on the window....well sure enough, Daxen followed just like a good little boy and banged his head pretty hard on the window which made him tear up a little bit!

I cannot believe that Daxen is already one. It has gone by way to fast. I still remember that days saying that he will never grow up and be able to do those things. But he did and it came faster then I ever thought. Some things about Daxen and 12 months:

1. He can crawl...its an interesting crawl but it gets him to where he needs to go.

2. He is walking...he is just a chicken and won't let go of things unless he knows someone is right there to catch him.

3. When I clean and do laundry I crank up the music and we dance. He loves to shake his booty.

4. Loves his blankets. Whenever we pick him up from the crib he is either holding it or when you grab him and he doesn't have it he points to it until you pick it up for him.

5. LOVES HIS DADDY!

6. Loves food. Except vegetables...still working on that one! He actually took beans the other day and ate about 10 of them until he realized what he was eating!!:)

7. Does the hulk impression.

8. Loves to get things out of the cupboard and push them around on the floor like he is driving a car.

9. Loves Steering Wheels!

10. Never shows much emotion on his face. You are pretty lucky if you get a smile out of him in a public place.

11. No longer has a bottle! He did very well with just going to whole milk.

12. Loves to cuddle right after he wakes up from his naps.

13. Loves animals...when he sees them he gets so excited he does the hulk impression.

14. Loves to brush his hair when I am doing mine in the morning time.

15. Loves to pull the toilet paper off of the roll...which now sits on our bathroom sink!!

16. Likes to play the piano..and sing!

17. Is starting to like reading books more and more!

18. Is the chillest kid ever!

We love Daxen so much and are so grateful that he is in our lives! We are so blessed to have our first child be so chill and lax. He is exactly what we needed so that we could learn to be good parents. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAXEN!! WE LOVE YOU!
